Hi All

This is a shot of the Dark Nebula CG 12 in the Constellation of Centaurus which is embedded with reflection components making for a very interesting and very faint object to image.

Many more hours of exposure are needed but even at only 3 hours the dark nebula begins to smooth out and reveal It's true nature.

EXposures: 18 x 10 minutes (guided)
Telecope: FSQ106N
Camera: SXVF-M25c
Mount: AP600E
Location: O'Connell (N.S.W,Australia)

Nicely done. I recently imaged this as well and show the tail extending out quite a ways. Yes, it is a very dim object.

I love dark nebulae !!
You've done a marvelous job here Louie, as I'd imagine it's not an easy object to image at all.

Excellent work.
