just wondering what causes coma in an sct i would like to get rid of the coma in my sct but first i need to learn what causes it:help:

If you want to get rid of the coma from your SCT, buy a F/6.3 reducer/corrector.. They are relatively cheap and reduce the coma significantly. Should you want to remove the coma without reducing the system from F/10, then you could PERHAPS have a custom made lens element made to do the job.. although that would be pricey..

it doesnt realy bother me buy some good quality eyepieces and keep the object in the centre that is the sweet spot there aint no coma there
