Starting to show some serious detail Les! Looking really good..
Definitely plenty of data! What mount and guiding setup are you using?
Alex.
Man that is a hell of a lot of subs, and it seems to have paid off, nice work.

I use Phd for guiding with the DSI pro II and Celestron 80mm short tube
My mount is the Losmandy G11 with Gemini

Thanks Leon, I think it could do with some more Subs but sometimes you just have to look at something else for a night then go back to it

Very nice image. Well detailed and the colour looks great too.
Les
Do you mean you calibrate the frames in Registar and stack them in DSS, or the other way around ?
That's got lovely detail and colour.
It sure pays to get lots of exposure and apply lots of Darks + Flats.
Well done.

Hi RB, with this one I calibrated and stacked the iso 800 subs, and then did the iso 1600 subs in DSS,
I then took the calibrated and stacked iso 800 image, and then the iso1600 image, and used registar to align and stack the 2 images because the rotation was off from one night to the other I also have a widefield shot with M51 maybe I will add that in registar and see what I come up with
Les
Ah thanks for that Les.
Registar does a great job for this, I use it too.
