The Canberra Chapter of 'Team Occultation' observed the Lunar Grazing Occultation of 29 Capricorni on Monday morning from Sutton, north of Canberra. I joined in the party.
It was a beautiful morning and the moon and Jupiter rose side by side. The moon was waning (-15% Illuminated) and the graze started at the sunlit limb, however the thin cusp made the observation fairly easy and quite spectacular, but I am biased....
I was the most southern of 6 other stations.
enjoy the vid!
