Hi, I have an EQ5 mount in good nick, the top part of the mount sits on a permanent pier (shown and not part of this deal), the mount sits on the tripod which is shown separately and then the clock drive is battery operated for out on the field. This is just your average vanilla flavoured EQ5 mount and I only want a reasonable price, which I’m leaving up you to make an offer on. If you don’t have cash that’s fine, you might have something you can swap like for example a HAM radio and antenna.

Because of the weight involved pickup only from Prospect (near Blacktown) west of Sydney, is your only option, the good news is I’m there 24 x 7, so you can pick up at anytime day or night. :P

Yes it is still available for sale or trade plus I forgot to mention and photograph some weights that belong to the mount, they slide onto the shiny stainless steel rod you can see, you can adjust the weights that stay in place with a large grub (thumb screw) this lets you balance the whole thing when you have a telescope on it and are perhaps on uneven ground.

In my haste to get this on IIS I completely forgot to write the price, I'll take any reasonable offer for the lot. Don't forget the tripod and clock drives come with the EQ5 as well as a built in finder scope plus weights, you must get the lot and pick it up or 'NO DEAL'

Plus, I'm open to a trade for almost anything, especially along the lines of DX radio, SWL receivers, CB, Scanners, Antennas, anything radio really, plus assorted good quality oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering iron, whatever, you don't have to have cash, but you do need to have something that works in reasonable condition, so star PM'ing me.

The mount is sold pending final details regarding transportation. I don't suppose any IIS members regularly drive between Sydney and Melbourne and would like to meet two very bright IIS members :-)
