Yesterday morning on ABC radio: A rep from Aust Space & Telescope reported that the bat flew off unharmed before it was carried any distance.:)
I happened to only catch a limited part of the report.
Cheers Marty

' Oops
Think you're right Erik, :doh:The rep from AST was talking about what was ideal to have happened. Not what really happened. The little blighter is getting a free ride. Ahead of thousands who have paid $300,000 in advance for space rides.:D
:ashamed: Re: my previous post I did only hear a limited part of the report. Now having time to recall more accurately, I believe you are correct Erik.
Erik, What is your valued opinion on this: Do you believe that "Space Bat" could possibly return with GREEN skin? Perhaps that happened to ......HMmm!

My opinion is no better than that of anyone else, but have you watched the fly/moth on the windscreen as you accelerate from stationery to freeway speed. At some stage, it's gone! I reckon the bat had to let go in the atmosphere, and pretty soon given the air speed attained. I suspect that it was then sizzled in the exhaust! RIP bat.

Hey Erick, :)
I suspect that it was then sizzled in the exhaust! RIP bat.
Turbulance may kick it out of range of exhaust too.
Noooooo! Stick to your original story. The bat got that free ride into space and is now partying with Jen's mates. Little green men.:lol:
Ooooh Aaah, Maybe its plotting something with them. Toy Take over.
