Qhy5 Camera Installation

Hi
I have installed PHD guiding program and copied the QHY5 driver into its directory as instructed. However, when I try to connect to QGuider, PHD says no camera. When I try to instal the driver using Windows hardware installation program I cannot select the QHY5 driver either from the PHD directory or the driver CD to install it.
Any ideas?

What software, from where?
CMOS.dll needs to be in the PHD directory as well.

Did you install the Windows Base driver ?.
You need to do this first. Then it should be OK.

What was your procedure once you got the camera and switched on the PC ?.
Also make sure your using a USB 2.0 port and cable. It doesnt work USB1.1

The windows base driver is a EXE file.

Your directions worked fine Theo and now I can see the camera in PHD and it is imaging correctly. Cheers Peter
