As I like to do :whistle:....these are extreme close-up crops of the Hourglass nebula inside the Lagoon Nebula. The original full frame image was a combination of 20min Red exposure with 30min of Halpha exposure.
I suspected the star next to the hourglass itself was double and a further zoom-in (and the Hubble image) confirmed this.
Of course as usual, this was taken at a modest wide field 1140mm FL :D
