As Rich was saying the other day the weather has been bad in these parts for 5 of 6 weeks.:(
Anyway took this while waiting for clouds to move off my target. I tried my hand at putting the LRGB together in photoshop after assembling the RGB and lum in Astroart.
Exposure was around 90 min L and 30mins each for the RGB @ 2 x bin.

I think you could do better on the processing. Data looks quite heavily black clipped. Perhaps a repro is needed.

Looks like you collected some nice data there, and a lot of detail.

There probably is room in that data to bring out more of it.

Nice image though I like it.

Greg.

I get the feeling there is more in this image, I have to agree it looks to be clipped.

Handy work there capturing data between clouds.

Thanks , guys. The Lum data is good the colour data is not the best had it push it a bit. As for Repro that's what cloudly days are made for:thumbsup:.

I will try to get some better Colour data as well.

here is the lum data only.

Wow, your processing abilities are great!

That's a really cool M83, the difference with a bit of "fiddling" is amazing. Well done!

Kenny
The repro brought out a lot more detail - love the faint background galaxies. It is still a bit clipped but nice nonetheless

Hi Kenny

I recon the first has the best "look" to me, other than the colour noise it looks great. Here it is with colour noise gone (mostly) and a bit more blue (I love blue) Trash this if ya want :P

Wow, what great detail in that second image.
I can see at least 5 faint Galaxies in the shot as well.:eyepop:

Lovely Colour and clarity.

Keep up the good work.
