No problems once I take delivery of my mount I am sure I will run into trouble and need some help.

nice! It'll make a nice grab n go!
Nice, I've heard these LP scopes are well built. I'm sure there are plenty of good times coming up once the mount arrives.

Michael I only have my old mead 4500 to compare against but this thing feels tight with no play at all. I actually freaked myself out the first time I used it I was turning the left focus knob and went for the right knob with my other hand. I thought the free spinning 10:1 was going to take skin off my fingers. It is quiet and because of the black colour it looks stationary.

I am impressed with L.P. telescopes. I have one of their 80 mm /500 mm. achros with FMC lens. It has excellent build qualities. The images are almost equal to my S.V. 80mm Night Hawk achro. Just as a side issue - the L.P. possls appear to have equal good optical and build qualities. I have the 17 mm version called the 'Sterling'. It is FMC with a 55 degree FOV. Mine gives good contrasty images that are sharp on and off axis. They get good reviews on the C.N.s forum. Andrews have a L.P. 'planetary' E.P. version which appears different to the Sterlings - so unsure of availabilty of the Sterling possls.
Hope you enjoy your scope. A review would be great.
