I love it when the underdogs burn the favourites :)
Forget 9 years ago(The better team won :D ) they have to break the 72? year drought.
I hope they pull it off .
Best of luck to them

If they win it will be their FIRST AFL premiership. All other premierships prior to the formation of the AFL are really not counted. Not the same league or level of competition. That goes for all clubs or else Port Adelaide could have 36 premierships. Even as a Port supporter I dont think that is right.

So I wish Sydney Good luck for their first ever AFL Premiership especially if they are playing the Crows.

As you can probably tell, Paul is not a crows fan, especially after they creamed his Port Power last week. Cmon mate you gotta follow the South Aussies here, I know it hurts... :scared: :drink:

Sydney people havent earned gloating rights unless they have supported the swans all season, and not just jumped on the finals bandwagon :P

Being a Melbournite, I couldnt care less what Melbourne Storm are doing

P.S. I'd like to see the swans win the grand final.

Peter, its a big Nah to barracking for the chardonay swinging mob at footy park. I am now glad there are no Melbourne sides left, but would rather see Sydney or West Coast win it.

Time will tell.

You are absolutely right Geoff!

If Sydney win, the Sydney-siders will celebrate, brag, jump in the streets and put down Melbourne clubs. BUT, do they really support the Sydney club? or just 'Jump on the Bandwagon' like you say.

Exactly the same down here in Victoria. When Storm won a Grand Final, Melbourne stuck it to Sydney. But a week later it was "Storm Who? Oh, that dumb game".

Swans are NOT a Sydney team and Storm are NOT a Melbourne team! One day maybe, but not yet they aren't. eg: How many Sydney born players are in Swans? I know for a fact that there is only 1 Melbourne born player in the whole NRL. Next year that will change, but that's a different story.

I just wish both Cities would get behind both footy codes and cut the nonsense or neither code will grow any further.

At least Soccer is safe

I'll get back down off my soap-box now :ashamed:

A mate of mine plays for the Swans, Stephen Doyle, and I can tell you he wasn't born in Sydney! He went there under the father-son rule beacause his old man played for South Melbourne before they became the Swans. I don't think he's playing at the moment unfortunately.
