I am pleased to say that the seeing was better tonight than for the last transit, although highly variable ranging from 2-7/10.
I was able to image the transit with 2x barlow and DFK.
This is the first of many avis I got and Titan's disk can just be seen like a blind pimple on the top of Saturn. The disk shows up more as the transit progressed.
Will process more avis tomorrow.

You have done very well Lester,
Congratulations on capturing this rare event.
We are surrounded by electrical storms, lightning around the horizon. Saturn has been visible for most of the night but the humidity is very high and the seeing absolutely crap.
Glad the weather was better for you and looking forward to seeing more of your images of it.
Regards
Trevor

In regard to Titan transits this is NOT the time to NOT be living in Australia. So we were only able to capture Titan on the way in as can be seen in the attached. Very good seeing in Miami which made our CGE1100 perform. Camera was a DMK21AF04 working at f/25.

Top stuff Lester - the transit looks very dramatic despite the variable seeing.
Cheers

Thanks everyone for your comments. I have processed the 8 avis and can see the variation in seeing conditions, which peaks at avi 6.
The colour of the first image is different to the rest, because I thought I was gaining nothing from doing deconvolution, which does a histogram strech and makes the image look very blue.
I am happy with the images from number 5 onwards, and glad I could record this rare event.

Well done Lester,
They look great and Titan itself also looks well resolved.
A nice record of the event.

Lester, I am not a Planet person, so to speak, but have to admit you have done a great job, well done.
