Hi,

does any know if there is any quality difference between the Premium GS 10" dob at Andrews to that of the Premium 10" dob at Bintel? I guess both are made in China in the same factory ?
Also, is a cooling fan a must have in a 10", cause I dont think the GS 880 comes with it.

One more question Pyrex versus BK7 glass - it is just the thermal cooling speed the main difference?

in sydney the type of glass probably wont make much difference at all. It is my belief that it all has to do with how the glass reacts to temperature and thye temps in sydney dont go low enough to worry bout it. If I am wrong I'll be corrected :)

andrews and bintel both sell the same scopes but labeled different. the scopes are both made in the same factory (guan sheng) and quallity is pretty good. they may have different deals tho so you might want to email them or call them :) (eg andrews usually throw in a couple of extra EPs)
