I didn't get it yet either (being a subscriber). This happened last time it came out too - the newsagents got it before the subscribers.

I'm sure subscribers are supposed to get it first!?!?

Oh well, maybe today.

Stop ya moaning guys! :tasdevil: Over here in NZ it's not on the newstands yet, so you subscribers will probably get it before us in the cheap seats :D

Wasn't that some distant memory of supremacy :innocent: . I hope there is no metion of that in this issue of S&S (to get back on topic). Have you got anything in there Robby? Oh thats right, you haven't got it yet. maybe on Monday :D

Got my copy today!

Go Gary Beal! 2 great articles by Mr Beal, each with a mention of IIS (thanks Gary!)

Rumples (paul) got his Orion shot published (congrats), but apart from that only 3 user-submitted astrophotos on display this issue unfortunately.

Also well done to Chris Venter who is also a contributor to the mag (read the editorial), look forward to seeing your contributions in upcoming editions.

Some good articles with a good aussie focus, nice issue guys.

You forgot to add Scott Alder, he has a photo in there. I cheated and went to the newsagent and flipped through the pages! Still hasn't arrived yet!

Hey if they published my shot again that is the second time that shot has been published in that mag, first time was last issue. I had thought they were going to publish my shot of eta carina, some time in the future. As it turns out they really like my Orion shot. Thanks Space and Sky this is a real compliment.

Hi just an update,

I got an email from Lyle Rumble who I emailed this morning regarding late subscription. Apparently, it is the mailing house which is not doing the right thing and Lyle apologises for the delays.

I was very impressed with the speed at which he got back to me and that he is currently addresssing the problem.

As far as I am concerned that has earnt them a big tick and will keep them in good stead for a while.

You managed to capture V1118 Ori in your M42 image...! so it was a great inclusion in the Variable Views section...

Thanks JD, I have done some further research and found my name and image smattered over the internet. Wow, just another freaky thing that has happened to me in astronomy.

You are most definitely not a second class citizen houghy - you seem to be a man of distinction, considering the quality of literature that you are now in possession of.

The error was with the mailing house, and certainly not directed at any subscribers...

We do love to hear all of your comments - more importantly, we are listening!

 Got my copy today , excellent edition throughly enjoyed it , great to see David Higgins {used to frequent the AO forums from time to time} awarded a grant to help with his NEO research and Garry Beals write ups and all the other articles and the usual excellent stargazing sections.....well done fellas

Great to hear those positive comments beren.

The regular stargazing sections are only going to get better too; with the inclusion of double stars section, solar section and astrophotography sections.

We miss anything? - I reckon an astro-software section would be good too, considering how much of it is around...
