hi i have taken these pics with the canon 450 d through a SW ed 80. i think they are OK but i think i need a better way of getting a sharper focus. maybe a micro focuser or get a lap top to see what i am taking. what do u think?? these are the best ones out of the lot.

The focus looks pretty good to me!

Could just use some cropping and some minor sharpening as part of your post processing.

Hi Les,
If you are concerned about the focus it may be worth trying a focus mask on your scope, there is quite an extensive thread on the Bahatinov mask on IIS. Not sure if I have spelt the guys name correctly. Then you would focus your scope on a star then go back to the Moon.
