Hi Bryan,
What stunning shots, the detail is simply incredible.
How lucky to come across such an obliging character, he could have been on a meal break.

Well done
Regards
Trevor

Thanks everyone for your comments

The rule I work to is to start taking shots further away, then slowly move closer taking shots all the way, so if he buggers off you're not left with nothing, however this guy was well relaxed & not in any hurry to go
I took about 30 shots, all of them are quite good,

Manual focus Mike, the tamron's AF & focus lock is something I'm just starting to get used to at this stage

Nice shots Bryan! It's always nice when these guys sit patiently for the camera.

Great shots....those dragonflies can be fickle critters but you've caught this one beautifully.
