ok its 11:20pm 24/-2/09....i have staturn in view with 10mm......where is lulin....everything else seems too dim to be lulin.....

Hi mate, I am in Canberra and am having the same problem viewing it.
My camera is picking it up large as life with a long exposure, but I still cant see it through the eyepiece myself, even though I am pointing right at it!

i am looking around saturns proximity....but everything seems fairly level in magnitude

Great detail and scale is very accurate.....i am looking at it.....just seemed to have same magnitude as surrounding stars....i was expecting to see something super bright

the closest i think is a what looks like a star very faint with a haze around it

Hold your thumb up sideways at arms length, Lulin is that distance above Saturn.
