In the first bit he points out that there is a strong H alpha line which is clearly visible to the naked eye with the ST100 filter installed and then gives equipment details (which are easily worked out).
Underneath the translation reads
"Eta Car is a type of variable blue star situated in Carina. Its mass oscillates between 100 and 150 solar masses,which means it is one of the most massive stars known in our galaxy. As well, it is one of the most luminous stars, around 4000000 times that of the sun. Because of the large amount of dust around it, eta radiates 99% of its luminosity in the infrared part of the spectrum, which makes it one of the brightest objects in the sky at a wavelength of 10-20 microns. It's immersed in an enormous nebula of hydrogen which shines with the red light typical of such emission regions. In the spectrum we can see the strong H alpha emission."

I need to look at the spectra we've been taking!
I didn't realise that things were so dynamic with Eta.

OK, here's my Eta Carina.
Bottom image is croped from 10x60sec Median combined -darks.
Top is spec 2D-->1D in Iris
Intensity Vs Wavelength in VSpec -no calibration for chip, 2 line 0 & Ha(6562.72)
And synthetic in VSpec.
