Yeh... it's a repro
This time an old Omega Cen shot, I was reprocessing a few images for an upcoming exhibition, trying to reveal more outer stars and was relatively happy with the outcome. The outer yellow stars seem to form tappering streamers and the globular is deffinitely slightly lopsided, bulging out in the lower left area a bit, cool:

I really should completely re-image it as this was the very first image I took with the FLI ProLine back in mid 2007 and I wasn't using the FF on the refractor and was shooting through a diagonal to reach focus (have the adapters now) thus had some vignetting also, so I had to crop a fair amount to remove most of the coma and darkend corners.

NO NO NO NO Not a repro.
All jokes aside, this is a lovely image. Not as excited about the outer stars but I am very impressed with your ability to resolve the core and its mirriad of colourful stars.
Really an impressive image Mike.

Yep that's a beauty.
I imaged Omega Cent last imaging trip unfortunately some high thin cloud that is hard to see in the dark was present and only some of the colour subs were clear.
One on the list.
I wonder if doing several hours on it is worth it? Seems to help with every other image.
Greg.

Funny you should say that Frank, I competed against NewZealands strongest man a few times, Levi Vaonga - 6' 3" and 165kg of brute power and you guessed it he was indeed a "repo man" ie it was his job to politely ask people to hand over their cars to the finance company when they fell behind in payments, he drove a high rise black Hilux with driving lights across the roll bar too, so imagine him pulling up and walking up your drive with a clip board
Here is Levi in 2000, the guy on the right of centre doing the thumbs up with me, with the spirl tat on his HUGE arm, my arms were pretty big at 20" in circumfrence then, so I am guessing his were about 24" around?:eyepop::

That's a very fine image, Mike. I'll never tire of that one.
With all the rain and clouds we've got lately, repro's are the only thing that keep the skills sharp :)
What a corker Mike.
I just love looking at this image, my eyes just keep dancing around the whole frame.
It reminds me of the views through my 12" LX200 only it's much sharper here.
Excellent mate.
