Light pollution

Here is the moon from several days ago. My neighbours directly behind the scope regularly turn their outside light on late into the night. Also a sunrise over Broulee beach during our holidays.

I have had the same issue with neighbours in the past, it can be very annoying.

Your neighbours probably turn the light on when you're out imaging just to be nuisances. It seems to me they're doing it deliberately.

Hi, nice shot of the scope. It would be nice if the moon was the only light you saw.
I wonder why they leave the light on so late if they are inside anyway?

Thanks for the comments. As to leaving the light on, its usually after they come outside for a smoke and forget to turn it off. Sometimes its going on and off till 2 to 3 am. All pretty random really.

Just have a word to them and explain what you do late at night, I did and it works wonders, unless they are real pains in the arse that is.
