QSI Imagers Now Up at Bintel

They've just advertised the QSI cameras at Bintel....price $4299 to $5999. Not as dear as I thought they'd might be!! Go check them out:)

Bear in mind that the ones advertised are the 504 models--only 400 000 pixels (768 x 512). The plus is that the chip has a high QE and full frame transfer. US price for 504 wsg is $US3490. It will be interesting to see what price the 540 wsg (2048 x 2048)comes out at. It is $US5290 and by my calculations at the same conversion rate it would be $A9000+.

Yes, their pixel count is not spectacular....especially for the price you pay for them.

I don't think they're selling the 540 series. At least, not yet.
