I have a Meade LXD75 mount for sale. Goto (of course).
Its about 2 years old and in good nick (just a few paint scratches). Bought from Bintel Sydney. Its a great beginner's mount.
Reason for sale - have moved on to an EQ6 and need funds for another (non-astro sadly) project.
Will post photos this evening when I get home.
Prefer pick up from Sydney as its a heavy beast and I tossed the boxes it came in many moons ago.
Price: $600.

Here are the photos - sorry for the delay.
Specs for the LXD-75 can be found at Meade: http://www.meade.com/lxd75/index.html
Its a good mount for someone shifting from an alt/az set up - not as heavy as an EQ6. I've given it a tune up and its goto works well if the scope is reasonably well polar aligned.
The price for the mount is $600.
As an incentive for budding new astrophotographers, I've decided to through in the Orion ED80 (as pictured). With this, you have a nice little combo for getting into astrophotography. F/7.5 with a focal length of 600mm. It has a crayford focuser (which is v smooth).
I bought this second hand from another forum member so I'd guess its a few years old - still works a charm.
Included are:
1. finder scope
2. 2" to 1 1/2" adapter
3. 2" 26mm Bintel eyepiece
4. tube rings (as shown)
I'd like to hold onto the diagonal.
Price for scope and mount, $950.
Any questions, please PM

The ED80 looks more popular than the mount - its a cool start up mount. Go on, you know you want to....make an offer

In an effort to shift this, I've decided to add some extras.
I have a Meade DSI (yes, the basic 1 shot colour model) with Envisage software and a USB/serial adapter to connect the mount to a laptop.
I'll also toss in the diagnonal (as shown in the photos).
So with the mount, scope and camera, all you need is a guidescope, laptop and camera to start in astrophotography.
Package price - $1,100.
I'd prefer not to break this up as I want to sell the mount. If the mount goes on its own, I will probably sell the other items separately.
Any questions, please PM me
