I was wondering why you cant see any pebbles or for that matter dust on the surface in fact it looks like it just been run over with a vacuum cleaner the photo is beautiful !!

I'm guessing 'The Man' is Iceman?
And maybe these images?
From the Vault: High-Resolution Clavius Mosaic (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=40635)

Edit: wrong link, fixed

Yes your right early this morning iceman posted a pic of the Moon that he took from his vault & refer to it as special photo dear to his heart maybe. The pic a corker but I'm interested whats on the surface ..Even the Indian Space Project has left me none the wiser I can not see any Pebbles,Rocks & or Dust & I like to think of the Moon as a clean & pure celestial object I don't want some idiot trying to go up there & mine the Moon thats crazy what are they goingt to tamper with next the Sun!!

Nor will you see pebbles or rocks, No telescope will show that detail, Not even hubble can make that resolution ( If it did you would see moon buggies footprints and other remnants )but what you can see is all that dust, craters, mountains, rifts and the Davey crater chain and i would like to think of the moon as pristine.

Mining the moon .....not in the future soon.....but maybe one day nothings certain.
Cheers Kev.
