This was one I posted in Ha a while back. Managed to get some colour on it last Friday night.
Was almost going to get some lum on it as well, but managed to get an image that I was happy with blending Ha to the red channel and using the overall Hargb converted to mono for extra luminosity.
Didn't post it straight away due to my sites bandwidth almost running out. It's almost at its limit for this month.:(
With only about 80mbs left till I get a fresh 1000mb for next month, hope you're able to get it ok :)
Any way, here's a link to my front page.

Man today was 46*C and yesterday wasn't much better. It's now 10.30pm and it's a balmy 34*C outside with a slight hot northerly blowin'... certainly not a great night for imaging even with a cooled camera...
Might be time to move to Tasmania:sadeyes:
Hope your weather is a bit cooler...
All the best

Deifnitely looks better now Rich ...
So now it's your turn to have the hot weather for a while ...
Thankfully it's been relatively cool here for a couple of days but then that means clouds and rain etc so no good for imaging  ...
Ofcourse it's because there is no moon to speak of for a while ... and my forecast is more clouds and the like ... just can't win so far this year.
No worries the sky will clear around full moon

Nicely done Rich! I think you have done a nice Ha blend with it. Very natural and nice contrast balance!
Boy 34*c at night! Don`t send that heat this way! Hope it cools down for you soon.
cheers Gary

Thanks Steve.
Yeah the hot weather is still going on here.... it's just like it was last year.
So far it hasn't dropped below 42*C during the day since Monday and tonight is still around 30*C outside. Calling 40 +*C's here till well into next week... oh joy..... not!
Thanks for that Gaz...
Tried to keep the R/Ha blend to a good balance star wise.
Think you've got some pretty nasty weather already...
Fires in Victoria....
Look like still more hot weather to come.... I'm definitely over this!
Thanks Doug!
Cheers Greg,
when I took the colour, the evening was quite cool. It was two days after the hot weather hit, so I was lucky the weather played ball before this onslaught.
Thanks Rob,
still more hot weather coming our way......
Cool the dogs and tinnies there son
Thanks guys for the comments and sorry I haven't got back to you sooner.
Hope you're able to get out and have some fun.
All the best for now:thumbsup:
Rich

Thanks Andrew,
only added 30% Ha to the red channel on this as the R channel had much greater signal and detail, (naturally) although the Ha did add to the nebulosity nicely.
Always a hard thing to find the right mix.
Used the Ha/Rgb in greyscale to add extra lum to the overall composite to give greater detail.
Always fun processing.
All the best
Rich
