Australia Day Foggy fireworks

How disappointing can you get? I took the kids into see the 9pm fireworks display for Australia day and ended up driving into a Sea fog! The fireworks started right on time, with only the brightest explosions just visible. The sound effects were terrific, though you could not see a thing. LOL

How unlucky can you get?

yep certainly was a waste of time and fuel to travel in

Sadly I guess they had no choice but to set them off regardless of the visibility.

Thats the 2nd sea fog Newcastle had recently. A few weeks ago on a near 40 degree day, a sea fog rolled in on the coast keeping it nice and cool. 10 kms inland it was scorching dry and hot.
