Great shots there....he did a good job with the avi. I'm pretty certain that white spot is a storm. It's rotating with the planet, and if you look carefully, you'll see white streamers trailing the top of the spot...probably high level ammonia cirrus. If it was an artifact like a lens flare or reflection it'd stay in the one spot.
