The title says it all!

It has been a long, long wait - but boy - it was worth it. What a magnificent series, great cricket by both teams.

Now, let’s have a look outside and see what's up for observing, Mars must be nicely positioned.

Cheers

Was a great series, much excitement especially for a test match, which can usually be pretty boring.

As a guy on the radio this morning said, Australia beign world champions for so long have really changed the face of test cricket. No more of this 2 runs an over stuff.. They have made test cricket worth watching.

Well done to England for outplaying the aussies all series.

I was somewhat dismayed at the Australian media response this morning - getting stuck into the Australian team.

They have dominated international cricket for the 12 years I have been Down under and deserve that recognition to be carried forward. Their tenacity and fighting spirit made for an very exciting last day and even though I wanted England to win (being a Pom), the Aussies fought right to the end - well done lads, you have lifted the game and although England has regained the Ashes, you can hold your heads high and be proud of your achievements and success, both past, present and what is to come.

Cheers

Dennis

Well, although, being a "Pom" I am delighted we regained the Ashes, I'd happily swap that for being an Aussie and having your wonderful skies (I visited Australia in 1997)!

I don't think anyone could say that it was a boring test series that's for sure. It was one of the most exciting I've watched for a while. And certainly not without its share of contraversial decisions, both ways. All great for the game really.

Hip HIp Hooray for the Poms

Oh you do know we only let you win for the pleasure of seeing you faces drop when we win it back off you the next time  :rofl::rofl::rofl:Well done the Prisoners Of Mother England. :)

now all they need to do is win the world cup next year but that will only happen if SGE gets the chop.

Thank you Iceman.

No, what I meant is that I'd rather be Australian, have the wonderful Southern skies and let the English keep the little pot!
:D

1ponders, stuck in the wrong hemisphere I may be, but a prisoner? Not with the UK having the best transport connections in the world!;)
