Hi All,

Before it disappears behind my house for another six months or so I managed to get this image of NGC 371 and associated nebulosity.

This is 4 hours luminance as Ha, and 25 minutes each of RGB.

There is a lot of faint nebulosity in the background which comes through as noise, but 4 hours is about my limit for imaging a single object.

Cheers
Stuart

looks nice Stuart!

Was that taken at F/8? you seem to have good resolution with the RCX 10" + ST10XME.. Was AO used?

Sorry for the barrage of questions.. Im looking into an ST10XME + AO sometime down the track a little bit.. :)

Nice image in any case...

Nice image Stuart.

Round stars at long focal length is no mean feat. Those Meade ACF's make great imaging scopes I've been impressed.

Greg.
