As President of our Rugby League District and President and Coach of our Club I have been extremely busy lately as we came to the end of our Rugby League season. Organising Grand Finals, presentations, Annual reports etc etc.

To top the season off we also invited Sunbury Cougars up to Ballarat to play against us and the Ararat Cowboys. With all the Junior Grand Finals out of the way and everyone finished playing for the year, it seemed a great time to round the season off with one more day of mayhem and hyped-up kids. That was yesterday and it was a fantastic day!

This is our first year in the comp and our kids have only just learnt the game, but all of Sunbury's kids and most of the Cowboys have been playing for years and are quite skilled.

Guess What?

WE WON!!!!!!

What a team!   That's my boys! (all of them, not just my own boys)

Today sitting at home I felt all the stress and tension just drain out of me

It has been a great year but it was certainly draining. Now I can concentrate on other things like the Star Camp, and enjoying my star-gazing . . . well, for a short while. My daughter starts Basketball in a few weeks!!! :scared2:

Atleast I don't have to run that, I can go and just be plain old Mr. Spectator Dad.

But for now . . . it's time to wind down and relax

and wait for the sky to clear. :)

LOL!!! I must be a good coach, I spent one night pointing out Venus and Jupiter to them and telling them about Galaxies, and then Harry and Jake started telling them about Globs and Nebulas.

My assistant Coach wants me to take my scope to his place!!! "Footy? Oh yeah, let's get back to training kids . . ." and for the rest of the training night they kept looking up at Venus

Super!

Houghy, I often find myself checking out what the sky is like at training. "Now when I get home and get the scope out . . ." :D

I've got a 2 track mind, but I need to seperate them!
