Hi All,

Imaged this one tonight through the RCX. Used the SBig to get LRGB all 5 minute frames binned 2x2.

Luminance frames combined to make an animation in photoshop.

Cheers

Watching a comet move against the background stars is one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen through a scope (2004) this reminds me of that experience, Well done !

Well done Stuart,

Love the animation, dont think I have seen anyone post an animation of the movement of a comet before, at least not since I have been on IIS.

I've been looking forward to seeing photo's of this comet! When we were up at the ASWA Tammin site on the 27th-29th December we took a look at it and it was surprisingly big and bright through an 8" SCT and 15" Obsession.

I've thought of gettting a shot myself but haven't got around to it yet, if I can see it through the tress (not a good north for me at home).

Nice result you have here
