Down here we're going to a referendum shortly Mike - with a name change from Campbelltown to "Star City" on the agenda...

Chris,

Canberra's practically a part of Campbelltown, innit? ;)

Seriously, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone living in the Town of Campbells. David, Mr. ving, you going to enter? ;)

Regards,
Humayun

" Town of Campbells " ..sounds a bit incestuous to me..

but seriously, ..what a great advance in local government consciousness!!
... will they next remove light-polluting council-owned assets, and pass by-laws mandating their constituents do likewise (emphasis on 'WISE' )

...a foot in the door... now let's spread it to ALL councils and ALL levels of government!

:)

What a good thing.
Why are a council thinking astronomy?
Not their normal "business".

Chris,
Isn't "Star City" in the former Soviet Union?

It's also what they call our local casino John - so maybe the name could be used in a proper context for once! :)
