This was shot on the 6th of January through sucker holes with the moon not too far away.
310 frames with the Gstar at full integration of 128x senseup or 2.56 seconds per frame.
Darks and flats were also used.
Taken through the SW120.
Post processing, contrast and curves using PSP.

That has come up pretty good Jeanette considering the short exposure time of each frame. Certainly a very capable camera.
Well done.

Nice JJJ... Maybe on the birthday wish list, RGB filters and a wheel :D would be good to see color data coming out of the GSTAR!

Nice Jeanette. How does a camera capture any light from this faint fuzzy with such little exposure? Wow.

I do have RGB filters, but they don't suit the slide I bought. Maybe I'll dig them out and give them a go on the long weekend.

Yeah, the Gstar is pretty sensitive (like it's owner:whistle:) it's awesome observing the Horse Head live on the monitor.

EXcellent image JJJ
Sorry for the delay in the post. You are way ahead!
I have most of the equipment for my set up (missing a guidescope) so I should be up and running soon.
Cheers Petra d.
