Hi team.
Well everyone is on the M42 thing, and while a friend and forum member visited the other night, we experimented a little with tracking/guiding programs. It seemed only logical to image at the same time, just to be sure. M42 was the choice, more due to the full moon being present than anything else.
Yep, plenty of room for improvement, but nice to at least be able to look up and see the stars, and not clouds.
Mewlon 180 with Mogg .5x reducer mounted on G-11 . Nikon D100, 7 exposures each 90 seconds. Stacked in P/Shop.
It would be interesting for Rob to post his result, as he downloaded the exposures to his laptop as well, and sent me his rendition.
