Had a go at this far northern object while I had the opportunity. Very low and very red.
Scope: WO ZS110 Apo
Camera: Canon 350D
5 x 10min subs at 800ISO
Focussed with Bahtinov mask and Nebulosity, guided with PHD
Stacked in IP and processed in PS
flats, darks, bias.

Not bad, considering you're so far south. At my place, the highest M33 reaches above the horizon at this time of year is 40 degrees, between 7-8pm. Even between 9-10pm it's still 17-30 degrees above the horizon. Only one problem....it's been so cloudy for so long I can't do a damn thing about it:eyepop::(

Thanks for the comments. This is one of these pics that are pleasing because it was taken under difficult conditions, but disappointing because of what could be got under better conditions.
