Horsehead now done with 18*10 Minutes and layering.
The background is not a red glob anymore and shows more detail.
Comments and tips as always welcome.

Very nice Martin. Probably still a little to much red in the flame but overall a very nice image.

You must be happy with the Canon.

A little bit of noise on the right hand side (streakiness) but otherwise it's a good shot. Guiding was good, nice round stars. Good colour.

Well done:)

Great image definitely needed 10 minute subs. I won't bother posting my latest effort until I get more data as it pales in comparison.

Cheers

I see you are a sword collector did iaido myself for a number of years still have my sword.

I've collected about an hours data on B33 but the subs are 40 second and 150 second and even after processing I don't get much of the Horses head to show so longer subs are the go which I might try for tonight.

Only down side is temperatures the last three nights have been hovering around 28-25c before midnight and I've got work tommorow first day back after two weeks off so can't be a late one.

Trevor you need between 5 and 10 minute exposures, and at least 5 of them to show something starting to look descent.
Just start with 12*5min and you will get something and it wont take too long.
13C is it going to be here :)
