Hi all. Sadly I must part with my 10'' LX 200 Classic as work is sending me overseas. I'm including all accessories I have with it as well as all of my astrophotography equipment. I want to sell it all in one go and really do not wish to sell it seperately. The telescope and all accessories and equipment are in perfectly mint condition without a scratch. They all work perfectly. This scope is absolutely perfect for anyone just beginning observing and photographing as a hobby or if you have been doing it for a while.

I'm posting from my I-phone and can't load any of my photos up mate. All of my best photos are 35 ml prints and I'd have to scan them for you and then post them. Most of my best prints are hanging on my wall mate so it would be tough. I can post pics of all of my equipment if you would like.

No problem mate. Feel free to do your due diligence and let me know if you have any questions. The om-1 camera is the best 35mm camera one can use for astrophotography and Olympus no longer produces them. The telescope is absolutely brilliant. Taking long exposure shots with 35 mm film is a patient mans craft and the journey one takes to get it right makes it all worthwhile when you get it right. Happy new year.

As it seems that using 35mm film for astrophotography is a dead or dying art I have decided to include the OM-1 camera and all of it's accessories for free with the telescope. I'm dropping the price down to $2,800. Makes me sad to think I never got to play with CCD equipment with my scope, but the journey I've taken with 35mm has been as rewarding as I could have ever hoped for.

what type of mount does the scope sit on.. is it the equatorial mount, or the standard one that comes with this scope from factory.. tracking, but not rotating on the 3rd axis.

It's a heavy duty fork mount with a 4" diameter sealed polar ball bearing, quarts-microprocessor controlled 5.75" worm gears on both axes, and a multi function power panel display on the drive base; manual and electric slow motion controls on both axes. I just have the standard field tripod and of course a super wedge. I get home on Saturday and will get some pics for you and send them to the email you listed.

Wish you'd posted this a week ago - Just went out and bought myself a 10" dob and accessories for around $1k. Would certainly have been interested in negotiating with you on buying your gear instead - particularly because I'm also located in Syd.
Happy new year in any case, Paul.
