HI all!

Here's a second image I took yesterday night!

I'm not really happy with the outcome! I have a bit of noise and this was by far, the hardest image I have processed! Very difficult to handle the subtle changes in nebulosity around different regions!

2 hours, with 5 minutes subs @ ISO1600

Pentax 125 SDP
Pentax 75 SDHF - guiding
EM200
Canon 40D unmodded

I'm open for suggestions and ideas!

I tried, just now, a difference processing technique and I was wondering which one you guys like best?

I like the 2nd one better myself..

The horse head is a real hard target for an unmodified DSLR.. Next time push out to 10 ~ 15 minute exposures and you'll end up with a better image...

That being said, it is a nice shot, the flame looks stunning!

Great shot for an unmodified DSLR, I like the second, noise is a real pain at iso 1600, but you have done really well here.
