Hi All,

This is my latest attempt at star trails over my observatory 28/12/08.
Managed to fit in a horse head as well.

This is 360 x 30 second subs with 10 darks.
Used my Canon 450D with 17-85mm lens at 17mm, F4 and 400 ASA.

Built image in Star Trails and touched it up in CS4 with Noise Ninja plugin.

Thanks to Houghy for putting me onto Noise Ninja, appreciate it.

Regards
Trevor

Yes Trev the horsehead really stands out.
Great startrails as well.
You also nearly got the south celestial pole lined up with the open observatory.
Cheers Kev.

Next time Kev,
How about not needing a HB filter for the Horse head?

Cheers
