Hello I shot These Early this morning 26/12 /2008 Thge LMC was ISO-880 -509 seconds Canon 350D sigma Zoom lens set at about 135mm.It was taken at 3.21 am.Eta Carinae was ISDO-800. and 149 secs . Both were processed in CS3 I'm on a Steep learning curve here.They were guided on a EQ5 chineese mount. The 350D was Piggybacked on a ED80mm Refractor,The Seeing was not too good. They were shot from my backyard in Town. Reguard's Tony

A nice pair of images. The LMC looks a bit on the blue, even mono coloured to me. You may want to try and adjust the colour balance and saturation and see if can lift a bit of colour into the image. Eta Carinae is quite well resolved and has some nice colour.

It is certainly a steep learning curve but its all part of the fun.

Keep at it.

Tony you will get there mate trust me, it took me ages to get it nearly right and i'm still learning, top shots by the way, well done.

I think you're doing exceptionally way for a start. As other said keep at it. Nice pics. :thumbsup:
