Favourite Festive Season Drink

Just sitting down reading all the new posts and threads whilst enjoying a quiet drink and I thought to myself, "What would everyone else on IIS be enjoying?"

Mine at the moment is a nice cold Miller Chill Beer - It is a mexican style beer infused with a hint of lime and salt. :thumbsup:

OP Bundy on ice for me but I'm in trouble because I'm diabetic and I'm not allowed to drink it.

If the main course is turkey or ham, a good cab sauv, then later in the proceedings if there are a few takers besides myself, I'll do a batch of Crepes Kaputar - crepes with poaches peaches, a dash of cream and flamed with Grand Marnier.

Narrabri Slab is off my xmas menu these days.

My brothers & I and one of our nephews were drinking these on camping / shooting trips 20 years ago, we called them Double Bundy's.

I'm very partial to these still to this day, or otherwise just plain old Bundy 'n Coke. Or XXXX on a hot day - none of that light beer stuff, I've never drank lite anything. I drink real alcohol, or stick to water / juice if I'm driving.

Having said all of that the last 5-6 years I've drunk way less of any alcohol than I have the rest of my adult life.

For really special occasions, a 50/50 mix of Drambuie and Benedictine. I call it "Thermal Undies."

Ouzo and coke is my fav ;)
Strawberry margaritas when its nice and hot yum yum :D
Kahluah and milk in the winter time, or baileys on ice :P
And when i wanna play up its tequila slammers all round with the lemon and salt yum :P
Oh and when i mow the lawns i dont mind having a beer :D

Coke Cola (ICEY !!!!! cold - so icey cold it spontaneously forms an icey crust when pored into a glass)..... very refreshing !!!!

Bailey's caramel flavoured is nice for night cap too.

A nice red wine with lunch... moving to corona with a shot of Mezcal (sort of like Tequila, except not made in the right area of Mexico to be called Tequila..)

A Eggnog before dinner (married to an American I have little choice, but it's very nice anyway)...

Dinner time sees the shiraz on the table.

After dinner I'm another Drambuie lover.

Favourite drink of all time is the Rusty Nail - 1/3 Drambuie and 2/3 good scotch.
