Very nice job on this one Bert. Have seen it on the star charts but have not even taken a look at it. Now i know why it's called Southern Plaedies.

A very pleasing image.
I also have often seen this one in the Sky and wondered what it would look like in an image.
Not often imaged.

Bert, the image is spot on, as always, ;) however what happened to the expanding blue nebulosity that is usual in these type of images.
