Hello all!

Yesterday night I had a chance to go imaging with my fellow club members! ! As usual the company was fantastic and the skies were absolutely beautiful from the Florida Everglades!

It was first light for my Pentax 125 SDP and PHD Guiding. I did a trial run a couple of days ago but I did not process any images, as I did not think they were worth anything.

This is NGC 891 and Abell 347. I have counted 40+ galaxies in the image using Cartes Du Ciel as reference.
This is almost full frame: I cropped a couple of hundred pixels from the right side to center 891. Resized for viewing convenience.

Pentax 125 SDP
Pentax 75 SDHF (guide scope)
Tak. EM200 guided
Canon 40D unmodded

21 x 5 min. @ ISO1600
5 x 5 min Darks

Would love to receive comments/suggestion/critiques!

Thanks for looking!
Emanuele

Great focus and tracking. Loads of distant galaxies in the background with still a lot of details in them. Impressive.

Thank you so much all! :)

My 125 SDP is only 800 mm on focal length and 891 is quite small, but still I like deep widefields...

Another lovely Galaxy shot with the dust lane captured clearly for such a small target.
Great job on this one.
