I've been collecting a bit of data but haven't posted an image for a while. Too many Tarantulas out there I guess. But also haven't been happy with the noise in fainter areas and the LMC. Core is a bit burnt out as well which I could fix with shorter exposures. Comments welcome.

That's a great image Craig.
There's a very nice 3-dimensionality to the nebulae surrounding the Tarantula. This is a notoriously noisy chunk of the sky and I think you've dealt with the noise extremely well.
Core doesn't look burned out too badly.
The whole package is a damn fine effort given the 40 minutes total exposure time.
Nice!!!

Thanks Doug. It might have looked better from your darker skies up in those frosty hills at Hahndorf. But more practice with processing might clean it up a little.

That is a very nice image Craig. Those Tak sky 90s perform well.

Awesome details and focus across the field. Bit red to my taste but it's only me. Colours are like "season to taste" :)

Beautiful widefield Craig!
Nice one Craig, as mentioned, for the exposure duration you have captured plenty of detail, well done. ;)
Leon

Thanks Lester, Marc, Gary and Leon. Comments much appreciated. This view is about half the FOV - thought it looked interesting in portrait format.
Yes Marc, colours are a little like seasoning and red is my salt. Need to cut it down a little more.
Maybe clearer skies are on their way and I can get onto something new.
