They want to get rid of the mouse??!!:eyepop:
The rats!!!
Just the odd mouse or two.
I like how they say that the mouse will be fazed out with touchscreens etc.
Let me tell you, at the moment I'm reclined in my chair a good meter away from the screen with my arm resting on the table, I couldn't be bothered raising my arm to use a touchscreen. So that ones out for me.
Hi Ron,
If you think that is a big number, consider the transistor.
In an article I read in the Dec 2007 issue of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic
Engineer's Spectrum Magazine, it quoted an estimate attributed to Gordon Moore,
founder of Intel, that perhaps one quintillion - that's 10 to the power of 18 - transistors
are fabricated within devices annually. Moore goes onto say, "We make
more transistors per year than the number of printed characters in all the newspapers,
magazines, books, photocopies, and computer printouts".
Best Regards

Think I'll be sticking with the good old mouse for a long time yet. Don't even like using them little touch pads on the lappy. And anyway, who wants a screen covered in fingerprints :)
