Last night with broken cloudy skies I was carefully drift aligning the beast and then the sky cleared long enough to get these.
Both taken wirh the SN10 and in HDR. Fridge at -10.0 C.

NGC 2020 and surrounds 3.5MB

M46 with the two faint PN's 2.0MB

I am slowly figuring out what this SN10 can do and then I will modify it further.

Lovely work Bert. The colour balance is really dialled in, bringing out both Ha and OIII emissions. SN10 looks to be a keeper. Thanks for sharing and well done.

You're doing some really good widefield Bert. Everytime I look at them I see new stuff I'd like to image up close :) NGC2020 looks cool. Real nice colours.

What modificiations will you do to the SN?

I have got a so called coma corrector Scott. So far OK needs fine tuning. No other person has done it. Actually it works very well just needs a bit of fine tuning! I will if needed make a carbon fibre tube to save focusing variation with temperature with the SN10.

Excellent Bert. I found that my Baader MPCC coma corrector though designed for straight newtonians, also works well with my Meade Cometracker 6 inch f3.6 SN
