Andrews offering Skywatcher 3mp camera!

Was browsing Andrews Comms website and noticed this
Camera, 3MP, has 2" barrel for inserting into 2" focuser - NEW $399.00

Anyone know what this camera is and its specs?

Can't help ya....I'm sorry to say.

But they've also had reference up for a while to a new 300mm Newt/EQ6 package which I'm intrigued by, but wonder when there'll be additional details:shrug:

My guess is that it is this product. I bought one about 6 months ago from a dealer in Canada for about A$300 plus postage. It comes with some very basic web-cam software offering very little camera control - nothing that is at all astro-specific. I haven't given it much use and can't really comment much on its performance. But have a look at the link below and a few others that will come up on a Google search under MD300.
