The attached photo is my first attempt at stereo astro-imaging. Have a bit to go in the tweaking but it looks promising.
Dont know how it will translate to the small size for IIS but here goes.
The image is view by using the cross-eyed principal

wow, thats cool Allan, looks like M42 is painted on glass in front of the background starfield. WELL DONE!

Works great! cant wait for the horsehead or tarantula!

Can never cross my eyes enough to get these to work correctly!
Have you tried making a 3D picture for 3D red/blue glasses? Can`t think of the name of these of the top of my head?

Allan. I see you've found the joy that is stereo imaging!

Lovely work, the process really does give you a different perspective on the subject.. Even if its not a "true" rendition of the nebulositys real 3 dimensional shape, it definitely is a cool way of showing the images off!
