Deceased estate - my father-in-law imported this equipment directly from Japan. Mizar have been making telescopes, binoculars, microscopes, magnifiers & loupes since 1952 and, according to Lonnie Hirsch from Mizar Optical Japan (whom I contacted re the scope), Mizar are one of the most famous brands in Japan. You can browse to the Japanese language site from http://www.mizar-optical.com/ where similar gear is shown. I've included a copy of the original 'glossy brochure' that came with the telescope. As you can see from the photos, the items are in 'as new' condition.
The equipment is NOW available for inspection in Newcastle.
