Well, here it is...
As I said before I didn't take any SII subs as there was stuff all in them, so I synthesised the green channel from the other two, then adjusted the colour balance to my liking.

Really nice shot Stuart. Roughly what ratios of H Alpha and OIII did you use for the green?
Very nice image Stuart, I love the depth and detail hat you have brought out in this image.

wonderful detail in the knots, it sets it well above the average image you see of this object, well done !

great level of detail.
Looks a bit too reddish a bit on my monitor?
well done

Nice work Stuart. If you decide to do some RGB, I'd recommend blending some of the good OIII data you've acquired into the blue channel. Well done.

Top shot indeed! Taken with the RCX400? Great field of view! You rarely see real close ups of the helix! and very rarely with such fine detail.
Alex.

Hi Alex,
Yep, used the RCX for this one. 15 minute subs, so there ya go, the good old Meade fork mount can guide.
OK I use an AO8 unit to smooth out the PE that's residual, but even then it works pretty well.

Frank, it's false colour, so really I just made them up so as to highlight the structure of the Nebula.

Hi Craig,
Umm the software did it for me, I used the Astronomy tools plugins for Photoshop.

Stuart,
You got some of the spirals, particularly on the right side here, that I saw on mine but could not bring out of my image, well done mate..

I'd like to do a mosaic to include more, but the weather isn't co-operating...
Cheers
