Wow 2.5seconds ! good one mate....whats that other object upper left of It John ? Your new challeng is to capture the most amount of deep sky objects on a 2.5 second exposure ! that will keep you out of trouble for a while ah !
Louie :)

Nice one Dave..I must learn how to do this 'stacking' I guess. Mines just one image, with about an hour mucking with it. I was quite shocked to get anything at all! Normally all I get is a black pic with a heap of hot pixels on it. This time however, I turned the LCD screen off. Damn! Wish I had a moded toucam & a laptop!
Louie, I think that top left object is a star? Strange really...if its a star, then it looks to be way out of focus, yet the glob itself looks ok focus wise. Also the drive was not on so there must be a bit of trailing but again, the glob stars look semi ok?? I don't get it.
well done!
i doubt i could hold my hands still for 2.5 sec! :P
i dare you to try ghost of jupiter!!! ;)

thats it, i'm telling iceman, i am pulling up my skirt and going home!
it is not fair that my high quality and very expensive eyepieces don't cut the grade, but everyone hates me and my eyepieces.
just because they cost $774 for a set of 4 with a free 10" dob thrown in, doesn't mean that they should be compare to those arty farty upstart naglers!!!
i am going home to sulk and clean my eyepieces with my tears and use the asimov method(jeans from memory)
disclaimer:
the tone used in the above response was sarcastic and in no way resembled anyone living or dead!

Well I NEVER!.........sarcasm!? I'm shocked! Yep, the jeans method works well with those precise pieces of high-class observational equipment!
I'll find her ving, thanks.
